While hiking, ravens flew on the air above.

My studio is a calm place.

I feel no fear as I work, there are no voices to listen to.

I have moving pictures in my head, an ancient way of thinking. The images I paint arrive together from these pictures.

It is important to trust the process and allow the work to emerge.
